(Beacon Group International Products Ltd, trading as Leach’s)


1. Definitions

(a) Supplier: Leach’s (Beacon Group International Products Ltd), its agents and assigns.
(b) Purchaser: The individual, firm, or company purchasing Goods from or otherwise dealing with the Supplier, whether via immediate online payment or via trade account.
(c) Goods: Any and all items supplied by the Supplier to the Purchaser.

2. Application of Terms

(a) All quotations, price lists, and sales are made on these Terms, which override any terms proposed by the Purchaser.
(b) These Terms apply to all sales, whether via the Supplier’s website or to trade account customers. Default credit terms are 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
(c) No variation of these Terms is valid unless agreed in writing by a director of the Supplier.

3. Representations

The Supplier is not liable for pre-contractual representations unless the Purchaser has notified the Supplier in writing prior to contract that it is relying on such representation.

4. Refusal of Orders

The Supplier may accept or decline any order at its discretion and shall not be liable for loss or damage resulting from refusal.

5. Quantities

(a) Goods sold by weight/measure are approximate.
(b) Manufacturer-supplied boxed quantities may vary; the Supplier is not liable for such discrepancies.

6. The Goods

(a) The Supplier undertakes, at its discretion, to repair or replace Goods deemed defective in material or workmanship, provided that:

  • Notification is received in writing within 3 days of delivery; and
  • Goods are returned in their original packaging within 14 days.
    (b) The Supplier shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
    (c) All implied warranties (including fitness for purpose) are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
    (d) The Supplier is not responsible for ensuring the Goods are compliant with legal or regulatory safety requirements for their end use.
    (e) Specifications and sizes may change without notice. Where necessary, the Supplier may supply an equivalent substitute.

7. Indemnity & Limitation of Liability

(a) The Purchaser indemnifies the Supplier against claims, losses, or liabilities arising from:

  • Use of the Goods; or
  • Incorporation of Goods into other products/services.
    (b) Except in cases of death or personal injury caused by the Supplier’s negligence, liability shall not exceed the price of the Goods.
    (c) The Supplier is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, business, or goodwill).

8. Prices & Payment

(a) Prices may change without notice and are those at the time of dispatch.
(b) Prices exclude VAT and carriage unless otherwise agreed.
(c) Website sales: Payment in full at time of order.
(d) Trade accounts: Payment 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Interest may be charged on overdue sums at 4% above Bank of England base rate.
(e) The Supplier may request advance payment.

9. Delivery & Risk

(a) Delivery method is at the Supplier’s discretion unless otherwise agreed.
(b) Delivery times are estimates only; no liability is accepted for delay.
(c) Risk passes to the Purchaser upon delivery.
(d) Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside mainland England and Wales.

10. Retention of Title

Ownership remains with the Supplier until full payment is received. Goods must be stored separately and clearly identified as the Supplier’s property. The Supplier may reclaim unpaid Goods at any time.

11. Consumer Rights (Online & Distance Sales)

Where the Purchaser is a consumer (not a business):

  • The Purchaser has 14 days from receipt to cancel the order.
  • Cancellations must be in writing.
  • Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging, at the Purchaser’s expense and risk.

12. Returned Goods (Non-consumer Sales)

(a) Goods may be returned within 14 days for credit or exchange, quoting invoice or delivery note number.
(b) Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
(c) Special-order items are non-returnable.
(d) A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply.

13. Warranties

(a) Manufacturer’s warranties apply where provided.
(b) No extended warranties apply unless agreed in writing.
(c) Exclusions include misuse, alteration, and external damage.
(d) Warranty claims must be made in writing within the warranty period.

14. Force Majeure

The Supplier is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and all contracts are governed by English law. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

16. International Orders

(a) The Purchaser is responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs charges.
(b) Unless otherwise agreed, deliveries are Ex Works (EXW).
(c) Returns from outside the UK require prior agreement.
(d) All prices are payable in GBP unless otherwise agreed.

17. Privacy & Data Protection

(a) Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
(b) Data is used for order fulfilment, account management, and (with consent) marketing.
(c) Data may be shared with third parties for legitimate business purposes.
(d) Purchasers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior discussions or understandings.

19. Website-Specific Provisions

These apply to users of the Leach’s website:

(a) Product Recommendations & Guidance
Online tools (e.g. “similar items”, “often bought together”) are for convenience only. They do not form part of any contract. The Purchaser remains responsible for determining suitability of products for their intended use.

(b) Product Images
Images are illustrative only. Actual products, including packaging, specifications, and colours, may vary. Such variation does not constitute a defect.

(c) Prohibited Use
Website users may not:

  • Use the site unlawfully;
  • Infringe third-party rights;
  • Harass or discriminate against others;
  • Submit false information or transmit malware;
  • Collect personal data without consent;
  • Spam, phish, crawl, or scrape;
  • Use content without permission.
