“This project has been a real success. Leach’s solution-orientated team helped us solve a complex challenge that other suppliers simply couldn’t. We’re thrilled with the results.” - Raymond Teigland, Technical Responsible Scaffolding at Beerenberg
Why Leach's?
“We sent this enquiry to 7 suppliers in total... The quality of Leach’s solutions, as well as their positive attitude and focus on a solution, really stood out. Nothing was too much trouble and Adrian and his team rose to the challenge we presented.” - Raymond Teigland The unique tool kit included:

THE PROJECT Beerenberg approached Leach’s to create and deliver a new Scaffolder’s Tool Kit that could meet its high specification. Each tool kit would have to consist of: • A heavy-duty leather belt Each tool then had to be tethered to prevent drops from height, which poses a significant risk to other workers on-site. Beerenberg also required detailed labelling to ensure safety during use, including: • The fall height distance when tethered THE CHALLENGE This specification proved a real challenge. Beerenberg approached 7 suppliers for support, but it soon became clear many would struggle to adapt in the face of these intricate needs. Adrian Tennent, Global Sales Manager at Leach’s, said “We stand out as our approach to product supply is different. We are a solutions-orientated business; that means our aim first and foremost is to solve a customer’s problem. Not only does this way of working help to form strong, longstanding relationships, but it also helps us evolve our services for businesses ever evolving needs. Still, speed is of the essence. We hit the ground running with this specification and quickly delivered a working prototype for Beerenberg to test.” THE SOLUTION In hazardous environments such as oil & gas rigs, health and safety is of utmost importance. That means all equipment used day to day must be of the highest quality. Leach’s handpicked a range of premium scaffolding tools that would help workers perform their roles safely and effectively. Once the kit modifications had been made to include the correct labelling, there was a testing period of 6 months in which 60 kits were delivered to various users to ascertain feedback before a much wider rollout. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and following some minor alterations, this kit has now been delivered to almost 300 scaffolders.
