Hi Anna! Thank you for taking part in Leach’s Meet the Team Q&A! Does it feel like a real honour? Wait… don’t answer that.
Ok, let’s begin. What is your role at Leach’s?
My role is sales and admin support, so I am usually the first point of contact for customers who make enquiries online or over the phone. I also process the orders that come in via the website, so I’m generally quite busy! But I like it that way.
It certainly helps the day go faster! So, what’s your favourite thing about your role?
It’s probably the opportunity to engage with customers, build relationships with them and ensure their orders get to them on time. Knowing that you have gained their trust and helped them meet their deadlines is brilliant feedback to receive and can be very motivating for us as a team.
And what does an average working day look like for you?
I am processing orders and answering calls and emails every day, helping with enquiries and orders, preparing and following up quotes. Each day brings different enquiries and challenges and it is nice to learn about something new and build up my product knowledge.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like to read books, do crosswords, spend time with family and friends, especially on a nice walk or trip.
I also like to learn other languages, but currently that’s on hold, due to a lack of time!
Wait, I hear the kettle boiling... Are you having tea or coffee?
It depends on the time of year, usually tea, but I do like a good coffee first thing in the morning. So, I guess I’ll take either… especially with a nice cake!
Quick fire round… What did you want to be growing up?
I wanted to be a nurse or a teacher 😊.
What are the values that drive you?
Honesty, loyalty, kindness, integrity.

Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.
